Real Madrid's winger Offers Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees

Vinicius Jr in action

The forward has netted 5 strikes in ten domestic competition appearances so far this term.

The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his response when taken off in the recent intense Clasico clash victory.

He was taken off in the second half and showed his disappointment by walking immediately down the tunnel.

He later returned to the dugout and, after his club's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's youngster Yamal during unpleasant final whistle exchanges.

"Today I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my behavior when I was taken off in the derby," the player wrote on his account.

"Just as I have already done during today's practice, I also want to apologise again to my team-mates, the team, and the club president.

"At times fervor overcomes me because I always want to win and support my side. My determined nature stems from the affection I hold for this institution and everything it stands for."

Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from his former club in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has notched triple figures in 335 appearances.

But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with reports in recent months stating that Los Blancos would contemplate allowing the young star move on if they obtained a good proposal.

When he was substituted on Sunday, cameras from network the service picked him up saying: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I leave, I'm leaving."

In his new statement on social media, Vinicius said: "I vow to keep fighting at all times for the good of the club, as I have done since the first day."
